Qualifications for each director position are described in the Lambda Center Bylaws. Additional positions may be posted the month prior to the meeting. Members eligible to vote at the 2018 Annual Meeting must be current in dues as of December 31, 2017.

Nominations may be made one month in advance by any two members of Lambda Center, whose dues have been paid for three consecutive months, including January 2018. Nominations may also be made from the floor during the Annual Meeting provided the nominee has indicated in writing his or her acceptance of the nomination. Nomination forms are posted on the Board’s Bulletin Board at Lambda Center Houston and online in the Member’s area of the Lambda website. Nominations for the 2018 Lambda Board will be posted on the Board of Directors bulletin board no less than two weeks prior to the meeting.

If a member eligible to vote, but is unable to attend the Annual Meeting, a proxy form may be requested from the Secretary of Lambda Center, no later than ten (10) days prior to the meeting. Please contact the Lambda Board Chair or Secretary with questions.

PLEASE NOTE: The signed proxy must be returned to the Secretary of Lambda Center no later than 24 hours prior to the meeting. The proxy must identify the person who is empowered to vote on the part of the eligible member and signed and dated by the eligible member — appointing the voting proxy.
